Yes, I could simply have sent a welcome email to you via Substack’s user interface, but that would have required me to be consistent! Not my forté.

I’m not an authority on anything except maybe coffee and chocolate. But I do love to learn and share what I’ve learned. Interests include history, Islam, autism, and how we know (or learn) what we know (epistemology).

And of course there’s the upcoming Hajj, Insha Allah. I’m posting about that as I prepare for the pilgrimage. I realized this morning that only two months and a couple of days remain before the proposed departure date of May 30, so I better get cracking on the fiqh learning, Insha Allah. How I’m studying for it might be worthy of its own post.
